Sadia, Sadaf To Quit Mobilink

Sadia Dada and Sadaf Majdy, the two key officials of Department of Public Relations and Social Corporate Responsibility, Mobilink will quit the company soon on separate professional and personal reasons, sources said.

Sadia Dada, Assistant Manager PR and CSR, has decided to leave Mobilink for better career move as she received a lucrative offer in Nestle Pakistan. Sadaf Majdy, PR and Digital Media Strategist whereas, will not only quit the company but she will also leave the country to settle in United States of America after her wedding.

Mobilink’s both official have resigned from their positions while currently serving the notice period, sources added.

Sadia Dada has rich working experience in PR and Media industries. She has also worked for Corporate and Marketing Communications, Hum TV, Daily Times. She was a graduate of LUMS having degree in social sciences. Sadaf Majdy has previously worked for Warid Tel and Askoli. She has done MBA from NUST Business School.

Cellular Sector’s Executives Considered As Most Preferred Professionals

Cellular industry has not only set various trends in sales, marketing and advertising in Pakistan but it also provided a talented human resource to multinationals and private companies of corporate sector.

Sources said that recently officials from PR Department of various cellular operators were interviewed at Nestle for a position of vibrant PR Executive in the company. However, Sadia was successful and appointed by the company.

Besides, there were many executives in the field of brand activation, marketing and sales department have switched their job in different sectors from telecom industry.

Mobilink—A Talent Provider

Mobilink, the oldest cellular operator and market leader in terms of subscribers’ base, has produced a lot of talented employees in the country. Particularly, its PR and CSR Department has provided many talented professional to different telecom operators in the last few years.

Among the ex-officials of Mobilink PR and CSR Department are Amir Pasha, Manager PR of Zong, Imran Janjua, Head of Corporate Communications and CSR at Etisalat Afghanistan, Muhammad Omer, Head of Marketing Operations and Brand Activation of Ufone.

These all officials were groomed their professional skills at Mobilink, which proved a significant headway and milestone experience for their careers. They have worked under the leadership of Omar Manzur, Head of PR and CSR Mobilink who mostly considered as strict boss and majority of them has become the head of departments at different telecom companies later.
