WordPress and MGID have been reportedly inaccessible on different internet networks in the country since Sunday.
Users of different internet services said that WordPress.COM and MGID.COM could not be viewed or uploaded with disruption. Few of them said that page views problem was witnessed as no page could be accessible after home page.
They said they can’t view these websites on PTCL, Qubee and Nayatel.
The two websites are quite popular in Pakistan as WordPress is ranked 40 and MGID is ranked 108 as per Alexa rating
WordPress is a free and open source blogging tool and content management system (CMS) powered by PHP and MySQL.
MGID is an online advertising network. It publishes links to items published by over 2,000 partners, allowing them to generate traffic for free through its patent pending widget technology.
The reason behind inaccessibility has not been ascertained however people believe that the authority is behind the blockade of sites, which is also unconfirmed.
