Mobilink Franchise Attacked in Karachi

Mobilink Franchise was attacked by unidentified people in Hyderi around 12 pm on Monday, resulting four people were wounded.

The injured, who have been shifted to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital, include two security guards, a company employee and a passerby.

Reports said that a hand grenade was hurled at an outlet of Mobilink. The reason of the attack was personal enmity with the owner of the franchise however police is investigating the case with giving initial details.

This is the third incident in past couple of week as earlier Telenor and Warid Tel franchises were reported attacked and robbed.

Warid Tel franchise was looted in Model Colony by six or five dacoits , a mile distance from Quad-i-Azam International Airport, early morning in Karachi. Whereas Telenor franchise were looted in North Nazimabad.

The three incidents occurred in the morning without proper resistance by security personnel or private gusrds.

The franchises of different operators in Karachi are visited by hundreds of customers every day for service purposes hence these outlets are considered busiest and healthy commercial place and become targeted of dacoits.

The operators should tight security of the franchise in order to protect the officials and customers from such incidents in future as a matter of fact poor law and order situation has made security vulnerable.
